5. macos prompts for dropping disk cache but it appears unnecessary now, perhaps a fix in macos makes this no longer necessary

error with rc2 on rpm:

This error occurs because the jDiskMark RPM package was improperly built.

Specifically, the package developer accidentally included the top-level directory /usr/bin inside the RPM's file payload rather than just the executable file inside /usr/bin (e.g., /usr/bin/jdiskmark).

When rpm tries to install the package, it sees that it claims ownership of /usr/bin. Because /usr/bin is already owned by Fedora's core filesystem package, rpm blocks the installation to prevent overwriting critical system directory permissions.
