For instance, I have all my mystical agriculture essence stored as insanium essence and the system knows how to break it down into the others. Allow cooking for blockheads to be able to see all those items so I could make apples of any tier.

This looks like something CFB should do. This addon only provides a way for CFB Kitchen multiblock to see anything that's store on AE2 network.

I'll have to play alongside Mystical Agriculture to see what would be needed

Had an idea this weekend, randomly. I'll test it out and see if that can fullfil your request. I cannot promise it will work or that I'll ship but I'm looking into it.
