[Feature Request]: Have a recent as libraries tiles in homepage instead of having blank homepage

Description

Having "File>Open LIbrary on Start" ticked would open last used library and keeping it unticked gives this blank view. Would be nice if you can show tiles of all libraries imported (instead having them as a list in "Open Recents").

For this, I was thinking maybe we redesign the whole landing page? Here is my proposal:

Ignore how terrible the icon drawings look I did it with a trackpad lol

I took inspiration from the Visual Studio Code landing interface.

If we're going to redesign the whole thing, it would be really nice to remove the parts of the UI that don't serve any purpose on the landing page.

The selection/tagging interface eats up a huge chunk of space for no reason at the moment, maybe it could be removed in favour of the actions section @purpletennisball is proposing? It'd get cramped trying to keep everything on-screen at the same time otherwise.

The search bar, sorting, thumbnail size & prev/next components could also be removed to help declutter things, although at some point down the line perhaps the search bar could be repurposed into a library search?

I'm thinking something along these lines:

I nudged some parts of @purpletennisball's layout but otherwise it's the same idea, just with the non-functional UI components stripped out. I wasn't quite sure how to work the logo into it though, it feels a little odd not having it on the landing page.

Totally agree! A new landing page would be better off not having all the other redundant UI elements.

I didn't use tiles, but I still think it fits. This is my proposal.

At least for now, I think something like that would be far more achievable, since using tiles with library entries would have to involve partially loading each library.
