Description:

While running a Market Analysis in TradingGoose, the Market Analyst agent fails with the following error:

AI provider returned empty response. Please check your API configuration.

This prevents the analysis from completing successfully.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open TradingGoose and start a Market Analysis for a ticker (e.g., ARM).

Wait until the "Market Analyst" step.

Observe the error popup.

Expected Behavior:

The Market Analyst agent should return valid analysis results and complete the workflow.

Turns out the GPT-5 model family will have this issue. OpenAI updated their API method for the GPT-5 model family and I couldn't make it to work somehow. Keep getting Error like AI provider returned empty response. Please check your API configuration from the backend.

For now I would say avoid using GPT-5 model family from OpenAI, if you really want to use it then try with Openrouter.
