Tell me how well my economy is doing - show income of boats vs trains

I never know if my boats or factories are doing better than the other. Now every time I get income, there is a "+xxx" amount text shown in green in the bottom right, but that doesn't help me take decisions at all because it happens so fast and so often I don't actually pay attention to it at all.
It would help me tune my economy way better if I could see my income per second in a sliding window over the past minute or something, split by boats vs factories.

Display somewhere on the screen the income in the last minute from boats vs factories.
