Possible conflict between HA and Predbat Table Card.

I am running Predbat v8.25.14 and HA v2025.9.4 with Predbat-Table-Card v1.9.1.2

For some time, I have been using Managing table width for different devices which has worked admirably on iMac (large screen), iPad and iPhone.

On updating to HA v2025.10.2 on Friday 17th Oct, I lost the feature above and the Predbat Table Card reverted to the default on my iMac. I couldn't get the 'different devices' option back.
My iPhone lost the Predbat Table Card completely.

I tried uploading the predbat Table Card again from HACS after removing it completely but no luck.
Throughout, Trefor's Plan card worked fine.

I have also experienced possible issues between HA 2025.10.2 and givTCP 3.2.

Yesterday, Sat 18th Oct, I restored back to HA v2025.9.4 and the Predbat card was back as it had been before on iMac, iPad and iPhone.

I have no idea what may of caused this or whether it is 'one of those things'. Having spent some time resurrecting my system back to its HA v2025.9.4 self, I am reluctant to try again.

Logs are patchy, having restored to a previous HA version, losing about 12 hours of data in the process.
I am currently hunting through predbat logs to see if I can find a clue.

Interesting - no issues here with card widths, but am on 2025.9.x - Can you:

1. show a screenshot of what you mean
2. show the card YAML config
3. have you tried bypassRefactor: true in your card YAML to make sure the recent refactored code isn't causing the issue?
4. I resize using the instructions in the readme. Are you doing the same?

As I had restored back to HA v2025.9.4 (where everything displays as it should, including multiple display), I had no evidence of v2025.10.3.
I downgraded because I had an unannounced calibration about 8 hours after my update. I rescued the situation eventually. Not a pleasant experience!

Predbat card is your latest, just downloaded: v1.9.2
Predbat latest version: v8.25.14

Anyway, I have upgraded again to 10.3 from v9.4 and here are the results:

iMac running Safari
iPad and iPhone in HA app. _If I run within Safari, plan is as expected _

iMac: As expected:

iPad: As expected: App and Safari

iPhone: Nothing in app; Plan displayed in Safari

Same results portrait and landscape.

It looks as if the glitch is displaying the Predbat Table Card on iPhone in HA v2025.10.3
In HA 2015.9.4, the Predbat Table Card displays as it should on iPhone.

I have also just tried adding bypassRefactor: true to the yaml code.
I wasn't sure where to add it so I tagged it on at the end under grid_options:

  columns: full
  bypassRefactor: true

This has made no difference. iPhone from app still does not display the Predbat Table card.
For now, I can use Trefor's card on iPhone.

Note that there is nothing about bypassRefactor in the readme or in the information within HACS.

You need to add bypassRefactor: true under the card YAML. To make is simple, add it after and inline with type: custom:predbat-table-card

It was documented in the release notes (been there since I launched it), but I guess this proves they aren't always read :)

Thanks for the info - I will update tomorrow and see if I can fix it. Let me know how the bypass goes.

BTW if anything, this is a bug with the conditional card, not the table card. The condition not working:

      - condition: screen
        media_query: "(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 767px)"

All this card does is show the sub-card (the predbat table card in this case) based on the condition. If condition isn't met, then it will show nothing. So it appears that HA disagrees that the iPhone screen is the dimensions it says it is.

You could test this and replace the predbat card with any other card, and see if it appears on iPhone.

BTW that's exactly how I have my cards configured, so will be interested to see what happens when I upgrade HA.

I think this is your problem:

grid_options is part of the new sections layout configuration

but according to Google AI, that particular config isn't valid https://www.google.com/search?q=home+assistant+grid_options+columns+full

so maybe HA 2025.10 has tightened up on this?

I have positioned bypassRefactor: true as you have suggested.
It makes no difference for me whether I have bypassRefactor: true included or not, so I have now omitted it.

I removed the grid_options lines and the table didn't then expand to fill the width on my iMac or iPad.
If I include the lines, all width is used.
Strangely, the card is now working on my iPhone so this might not be an issue.

I have added your new options in v1.9.2 and I have copied the final part of the card below so that you can see that the options do work. They conveniently confirm for you that the versions of Predbat and the Table Card that I am running.

So I need to add the grid_options lines. Otherwise the table does not adjust to the full width available:

I wonder whether grid_options was an earlier command but I do need it.
Or have I got this from somewhere else?

This dashboard is based on 'sections' (of which I am no great fan).
Could this be a factor?

I can try the yaml in a new 'conventional dashboard, with and without the grid_options lines

I am guessing it's something to do with the new dashboard templating system that HA now has. Can you confirm what your dashboard is using so I can replicate (which layout):

I have now used the yaml code in a new view using a 'panel' configuration for the view.
This displays across the whole width without the grid_options lines

So if you have a 'sections' view, you need the grid_options lines.
Otherwise you may not but it depends on the configuration!
And of course when setting up a view now, HA chooses 'sections' as the default.

Originally, this worked on iMac, iPad and iPhone.
BUT when I tried again later on, the iPhone table card was not displayed, despite having yaml code.
This is all that I can see:

It is the iPhone view that isn't working.
My iPhone is an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Screen is 2796‑by‑1290-pixel resolution.
The original code worked perfectly well on HA 2025.9.4, so is it a 2025.10.x thing?

I made a new view from scratch using panel layout.
I then pasted in your 'readme' code for conditional multi-view.
This works on iMac and iPad but usual blank page on iPhone.

Then on the iPhone (Tahoe iOS 26.0.1) in my new view using new Panel layout, I have selected code editor and I get this:

that's a problem with the HA UI. Possibly with a HACS module not loading properly.

Try refreshing the screen?

I would try stripping it down, creating a minimal view that you can recreate the issue on and then raising it as a HA issue

Using panel layout, the default card works on all 3 device types, iMac, iPad and iPhone.
The glitch with iPhone seems to be conditional statements.
