Hardware power cycle detection: in case of a hardware power cycle, the support detects it and the EPICS system could handle this and probably restore autosave files or other things.
PowerPMAC is supported via reading "Sys.ServoCount" only. Others types could be supported too, if they provide a fixed frequency increasing counter like "Sys.ServoCount".
At Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin we are using GeoBrick's and PowerPMAC's. We want to give back some of our improvements back to the community.
