Created by Roomote. Follow up by mentioning @roomote-roomote, in the web UI, or in Slack.

What changed

  • Added a new Cookbook section with an overview, contributor template, and five launch recipes covering vendor outage triage, support investigations, CI failure fixes, product-update newsletters, and scheduled maintenance.
  • Added copyable prompts, launch criteria, custom skill fields, example transcripts, variations, limitations, and related-recipe links.
  • Linked the recipes from the Automations, Skills, and relevant observability and data integration guides.

Why this change was made

Roomote's feature documentation explains individual capabilities, but teams also need concrete examples of how automations, skills, environments, and integrations combine into durable workflows. The Cookbook gives readers outcome-first systems they can copy and adapt.

Impact

Readers can discover five complete Roomote workflows from a dedicated navigation section, copy configuration that matches the current product UI, and follow contextual links from the feature and integration guides they already use.

  • apps/docs/cookbook/product-updates-newsletter.mdx:30,35 Custom MCP servers are configured in an environment's YAML editor under mcpServers, not under Settings > Integrations. These steps leave the Resend tool unavailable to the automation; direct readers to the environment YAML flow instead.
  • apps/docs/cookbook/ci-failure-auto-fix.mdx:27,30-42 CI Failure Triage is a toggle plus optional destination only; it has no Additional instructions field, and its runtime does not consume per-automation instructions. The recipe's central noise-control configuration therefore cannot be applied. Remove or rework this section before publishing.
  • apps/docs/cookbook/support-channel.mdx:4-6,22 The frontmatter attributes this recipe to John Stearns at Roo Vet, but the published Cooked By line credits Matt at Roomote. Use the same contributor metadata in the visible attribution so the public recipe does not miscredit its author.
