Snap4Arduino Crashes upon trying to connect to Arduino

I am using a Mac and have downloaded the Snap4Arduino app. The Brain is connected successfully. But when i click on connect to Arduino the app crashes. I have tried installing the app multiple times and restarting as well.

The App works well on Windows, but I want to use the app on Mac.

I was having the problem, but if you go into your system security and go to bluetooth and manually allow permission for it to run, than it should connect and not crash anymore. Im running on macOS Sequoia 15.7.7.

I guess "old" Snap4Arduino was working fine on Mac... but why are you still using that version?
Snap4Arduino is still working, but its development has been discontinued since January 2025 because the S4A connector already works directly in the normal version of Snap.
You have Snap4Arduino with a Snap10... when Snap! v12 has just been released just these days.

I suggest you to move to Snap!
All your Snap4Arduino projects will run there... and we can help with any issue-problem.
You will find the "S4A library" in Snap! and also you can use the CreativeLearningLab documentation and examples.
