Description
Many of our competitors--such as Vensim--allow a table to be constructed to map an input to an arbitrary output. I suggest we consider using a bezier curve instead: a plot with one input (on the X-axis--maybe top or bottom as options) and one output (on the Y-Axis--maybe left or right side as options) with a default of a straight line linking (0,0) to (1,1). Then the user can define a curve using the bezier drawing tools.
System controls would include the X axis and Y axis ranges, and the default would be drawn from (min, min) to (max, max) with the user able to move the beginning and end points, add new inflection points, alter tangents, etc.
