Register Firmboot as an experimental continuity research project in the language
portfolio. Cross-reference its standalone repository, synchronic/diachronic
identity framing, ecological and desktop motivations, and actual proof limits.
Keep all Firmboot specifications, implementations and proofs in its own repo.
Update the README, thin language pointer, quick reference, registry, ecosystem,
intent and tooling/tracker surfaces together. No readiness grade or BoJ language
integration is assigned. Correct the registry validator and pointer links to the
actual
.adoccatalogue rather than the absent.mdfiles; all 16 currentcatalogue pointers then agree with the registry surfaces. Add Firmboot to the
coordinator's no-vendoring guard. The tracker recognises its source languages and
no longer counts an empty extension search as a source file.
Move existing metadata to canonical
descriptiles/and repair live pathreferences. Existing
.a2mlfilenames remain compatible with the installedreaders during the separate Deed migration. Historical audit records remain
unchanged. Update to lock-aware shared governance, refresh the native Actions
lockfile and fix malformed JSON/shell quoting in the existing BoJ notifier.
Local validation: registry consistency, coordinator boundary, AsciiDoc rendering,
six descriptor-table parses, Julia tracker syntax, secrets scanning, workflow
syntax/shell-error checks and whitespace checks pass. Pre-existing style/info
ShellCheck findings remain outside that error-level result. The workflow linter
now verifies native dependency locks and accepts SPDX within the leading comment
block. Missing/misplaced/empty header controls fail as expected. The notifier
requires a configured HTTPS endpoint and rejects HTTP before connecting.
The Guix manifest declares tools for the existing coordinator guards; Scheme
syntax is checked, but a Guix environment was not instantiated locally.
All PR checks passed before merge. An additional main ruleset requires registry,
boundary, dependency, licensing and security checks with no bypass actors.
