Summary
Promote the validated 2.44.0 runtime candidate to
previewas 2.44.0-preview.20260907. This is a maintainer-controlled release promotion. The branch normally merges frozen dev RC44ea9576e27c6be8be7f13a86e32bb349368c54d; it does not include dev's subsequent 2.45.0 version move.The only conflict was the package version. All other files equal the frozen RC, and parsed package metadata after removing only
versionis identical. Existing source commits and contributor attribution remain in the merge history.Verification
