This is a PR to enable better diagnosis of busy mesh conditions. The code here adds granular stats regarding MAC-layer events. This should enable a better understanding of what is really going on in busy locations such that we can adjust how RX and TX works in practice to get the most throughput.
This PR is referenced in issue #2820.
