Preserve resolved base and merge-base SHAs through Go, Python, and TypeScript response types and transformations. Keep older responses compatible and document ancestry meanings and SDK naming. Cover public diff methods with local/mock responses, distinct head/base/ancestor values, omitted and empty metadata, and unchanged diff data and query parameters. Validation: Go tests, vet, build, and gofmt; Python 189 tests, Ruff, build, and twine; TypeScript 223 tests, tsc, and ESM/CommonJS/declaration builds; version checks and 13 version-tool tests pass. Python mypy retains the same three baseline errors in auth.py:90 and repo.py:89,184.
