As raised by @sbrannen related to https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-framework/pull/34555#discussion_r2008776562, we don't check currently Kotlin code style. We may want to introduce such code style, document it, and use tools like https://github.com/pinterest/ktlint to check it at build time.
