Since there's only 2 ways to stop the AlphaESS to discharge to load which is

  1. Set a discharge schedule OUTSIDE of the current time.

  2. Set a charge schedule with a SOC below the current SOC, on my Smile G3 this will just hold the battery at the current charge.

I went with option 2.

Note since 10% is the minimum the API accepts I set a 100w charge limit as well, if the battery is below 10% it will still charge from the grid and there's nothing we can really do about that.

#4725 was annoying me enough to take a stab at it.

Codex/ GPT 5.6 sol (medium) was used for this.

I'll need more time to do full H/W testing but it seems to be working with my Smile G3 stack.
